"content": "In the 2022/2023 Financial Year, the Ministry of Education received Ksh470 million for the implementation of the programme. This amount was used to procure sanitary towels for 1,682,492 girls in Class VI to Class VIII in all public primary schools. The Ministry of Education has been distributing seven packets of pads per girl per year. The sanitary towels were delivered on 10th April to June 2023. That will take the girls up to December 2023 when the procurement for the 2023/2024 Financial Year is concluded."
