"content": " Thank you very much, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I rise to second this very important Motion by Hon. Waqo on action to address the recent surge in road accidents in the country. The scourge of road carnage is not new to this House because it has been previously discussed and it is a matter of national concern. It is very important that as a nation and a House we look at this matter seriously and put measures in place as has been well articulated by the Mover of the Motion. This matter needs attention, specifically now that we are moving into the festive season where Kenyans will have to travel back and forth. Our schools are closing in a week’s time and it is really important that, as a nation, we address and take seriously matters road safety in order to keep Kenyans safe. With that, I second."
