"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. Ratifying the East African Community (EAC) Multilateral Agreement on Aircrafts Accidents and Incident Investigations will bring several benefits to Kenya. Upon ratification, Kenya and other partner states will experience enhanced cooperation and collaboration in the investigations of aircraft accidents and incidences. This will include sharing resources among other partner states. I had mentioned that earlier. The Agreement is aligned with the EAC Treaty. There are no immediate direct financial implications arising from its ratification. Further, it presents no new policy implications for Kenya as the provisions of the Agreement are already embedded in the Civil Aviation Act, 2013 and Civil Aviation Aircraft Accidents and Incident Investigations Regulations, 2010."
