Finally, they are also supposed to guarantee that primary healthcare services are optimally financed and resourced to offer quality care to all patients and residents in the Republic of Kenya. Part III of the Bill provides for the establishment of the primary healthcare workforce, which includes community health promoters and health care providers. It also sets out the modalities on the selection and recruitment of community health promoters by the county government as well as the obligations of the county government in relation to county health promoters."
