    "content": "Nyando, ODM): Thank you. As we make efforts to revive these sugar companies, we must step back and look at the issues that caused the collapse of all these sugar companies. It is also important to ask ourselves this question: Why is it that it is only the Government mills that are having a problem when private millers are thriving? What is it that the private millers are getting right that the Government is not? As we put our foot forward for the privatisation of sugar mills, we must recognise that farmers play a critical role. The owners of the nucleus farms, which are ancestry, must also be recognised so that we do not shortchange them by the Government putting its head in sugar matters. I thank you for the opportunity"
