    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Chairman. There is a big case backlog at the Court of Appeal, which is holding back necessary developments in terms of appeals that need to be determined. We need to increase the number of judges through more appointments. The Leader of the Majority Party has made a very important point. The proposed amendment is not to have 70 or 75 judges. The wording states: “not more than 70 judges”. The increase will be based on the state of the economy and other considerations. I believe that the Judiciary will be in constant consultation with the Executive in terms of the budget allowance as they implement that provision. I support the amendment."
