Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Section 125(2) of the Evidence Act be amended by deleting the expression “a person with a mental disability” and substituting therefor the expression “a person suffering from a mental disorder”. This is similar to what we did to Section 146 of the Penal Code. The purpose is basically to align the expressions with what is contained in the Mental Health Act."
