Temporary Chairperson, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the National Museums and Heritage Act (No.6 of 2006) by deleting the proposed amendment to Section 57(2) and substituting therefor the following new amendment: Delete subsection (2) and insert the following new subsection— (2) The Director of Public Prosecutions may appoint a heritage warden appointed under subsection (1) as a prosecutor for purposes of prosecuting offences committed under this Act."
