I beg move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the Teachers Service Commission Act, 2012 (No.20 of 2012), by deleting the words “National Assembly” and substituting therefor the word “Parliament”. This is to realign the section to the Constitution. We need to know that independent commissions and the President always report to Parliament, not the National Assembly. As it stands, we have two Houses of Parliament - the Senate and the National Assembly. We have The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
