I opposed the extension of the term of the Director- Generals of Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) and Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) from three to four or five years. However, Hon. Kimunya who was Leader of the Majority Party could not listen. As Leader of the Majority Party now, I will listen to Kenyans who want officers in Government to serve for a specified time of three years renewable once, so that we can also offer opportunities to other young Kenyans who are growing their careers, The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
