Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, clause 12 of the Bill be amended by deleting sub-clause (3) and substituting therefor the following new sub-clause— “(3) The Cabinet Secretary may, in consultation with the National Land Commission, prescribe guidelines on the royalties to be paid on natural resources, forestry land and products obtained from natural resources and forestry land for purposes of rating.” Hon. Temporary Chairlady, what we are trying to do here is just to tidy up the main Clause as it appears in the principal Act. We are paraphrasing it to have clarity."
