    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Chairlady. We are not here as Members of the Opposition but to make these laws comfortable for all Kenyans. I want to plead with the leadership of the Government side. The amendment that Hon. Oundo has proposed is very important. Let me give you an example. One of my pieces of land was auctioned in Siaya because I had not paid land rates. It was sold at a throwaway price and somebody bought it. One of my opponents wanted it. If the proposed reserve price was in the law then, I would have saved it. I want to plead with Members on the Government side. I know that Hon. Osoro is the commander-in-chief here. Please, allow this amendment to pass."
