In cases where patients have been traveling long distances… If we pass this Bill, our patients will be reviewed by doctors who will be staying in Nairobi. It is a known fact that our local hospitals have inadequate equipment. Even though this Bill is going to offer solutions in equal measure, I would like to recommend that local hospitals like Sigor Sub-District Hospital in Chepalungu must have the requisite equipment so that patients can travel short distances to have reviews of their health that are usually conducted in Nairobi done efficiently locally. I support the Bill. Thank you."
