    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to add my voice to this very important Social Health Insurance Bill. I have been looking forward to this opportunity because I know how important this Bill is. Kenyans have been facing challenges in terms of healthcare facilities and management of the NHIF. Kenyans have suffered in different ways because of lack of accountability and many other things. Through the Bill, we will transform the health sector and promote the implementation of Universal Healthcare in every part of the country. We will also ensure that all Kenyans receive equal opportunities in terms of service delivery. I appreciate the work of the Departmental Committee on Health in coming up with this Bill. The Bill clearly indicates what it will do to serve Kenyans. Part II of the Bill establishes the Social Health Authority. This Authority will be a body corporate with perpetual succession and common seal and shall, in its corporate name, be capable of various things. If we take all those factors into consideration, we will transform our country. One of the factors that has helped me to accept this Bill is that the Authority will manage, control and administer its assets in such a manner and for such purpose as best promotes the objects for which the Authority is established.
