Temporary Chair, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 49 of the Bill be amended— (a) in sub-clause (1), by deleting paragraph (c) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph- “(c) environmental standards and issues as set by the body for the time being responsible for public health; and” (b) by deleting sub-clause (2) The idea is to enhance clarity with respect to paragraph (c). Also, in sub-clause 2, we need to provide for quality control measures, the fact that quality control measures do not give rise to an offence notwithstanding."
