"content": " Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. On behalf of the great people of Navakholo and on my own behalf, I wish to convey my sincere condolences to the people of Kanduyi and Bumula constituencies where the late Hon. Lawrence Sifuna served as a Member of Parliament. This is a great man who debated very well in this House. If you look at The Hansard, the exchanges he had with the late Hon. Charles Njonjo made it possible for him to be named one of the Seven Bearded Sisters. This is a terminology “which indicates a lady on one side and a man on the other side”. This meant that he was both sided. He was a strong man. The seven bearded Members, including Hon. George Anyona and others, were very tough. They debated on the Floor of the House and delivered the right message. I thank you for giving me an opportunity to convey my sincere condolences to the family."
