Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, clause 10 of the Bill be amended by deleting the words “in consultation with the relevant Government Agencies.” The amendment seeks to align with the provisions of Article 230(4) of the Constitution which provides that it is the function of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission to advise the national Government on the remuneration and benefits of public officers."
