    "content": "Tax policy also proposes to expand the tax base. Manufacturing, finance, insurance and Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) are sectors which contribute 17 per cent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). They contribute 53 per cent of the tax revenue in this country. If you look at that, 17 per cent of the GDP contributing 53 per cent of the tax revenue means that these sectors are overtaxed. It is, therefore, important to expand the tax base."
