    "content": " Hon. Temporary Speaker, I tried to raise my hand, but I was unable to catch your eye. I thank the Chairperson of the Committee for this opportunity. I commend him for the excellent manner in which he has done his work. Sessional Paper No.2 of 2023 is trying to demonstrate to Kenyans the agenda of this Government. The Kenya Kwanza Government is serious about dealing with public debt, which can only be addressed by generating more revenue within the country. This Policy is trying to address existing gaps and broaden the tax base. We must offer services to Kenyans, build schools and roads, and provide water. I commend the Chairperson for an excellent job done. I support the National Tax Policy."
