"content": "In most cases, those youths do not go home to even take a shower. There are existing laws that regulate the time that alcohol should be sold, pursuant to the Alcoholic Drinks Control Act, 2010. Mr. Speaker, Sir, in most developed world, where we copy many things because they are ahead of us in many ways, clubs are closed at 2.00 a.m. No partying goes on in the United States of America, for example, past 2.00 a.m. In Kenya, the youth who are supposed to be participating in economic activities, the people who the future of our country relies on, are busy partying, thinking of nothing beyond tomorrow than having a good time the next weekend. Mr. Speaker, Sir, if this trend continues, we are going to lose a whole generation. Allow me to give a personal experience. While at the University of Nairobi, I met a good friend who went to Alliance Girls High School."
