    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. I congratulate Hon Gathoni Wamuchomba for the timely presentation of this Bill, which will give life to Article 57 of the Constitution. When you holistically look at the kind of life the elderly are living in this country, especially those who have served our Government in different capacities in the past… The saddest story is that of the teachers who taught and retired during the Moi era, who have not received their pension up to now. Many of them have passed on while waiting for that money. This Bill provides for a firm and solid way of dealing with those issues."
