Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 28 of the Bill be amended by deleting the word “preceding” appearing immediately after the word “immediately” and substituting therefore the word “after”. We have shown exactly what is to be deleted and what is to be placed therein. The rationale is that we have to clarify the prohibition on the employment activities of a public officer which apply after they leave Public Service, instead of the word “preceding”. Thank you."
