"content": " I will exactly do that. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. I thank Hon. Gitonga Mukunji for this Adjournment Motion. I want to confine myself to three key issues. Before I say anything, I thank the teachers who walked with the students from Standard One to the time of examination. I am pained tonight because we are speaking of a process that started 39 years ago and was running very well, but it has ended badly. I want to join my colleagues in stating that there were massive anomalies in the examinations. Some students scored as low as 3 per cent in Social Studies. There was misalignment in the Kiswahili marks with some students receiving marks in Kenyan Sign Language, which they did not sit for, instead of receiving marks in Kiswahili. There was also awarding of identical marks in the same subject to all students in a school. I never witnessed an occasion where all students score identical marks in a subject in all the years that I was a career teacher. That is a very clear indication that there is something seriously wrong with the results."
