    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations on security enhancement along the Kenya-Uganda border in Turkana County. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) State action taken by the government to deal with the increasing tensions and security risks along the Kenya-Uganda border in Turkana County, outlining measures put in place if any to ensure the prompt deployment of Kenya Defence Forces in the region to safeguard the lives and properties of the residents.
