In fact, the Chair of the Budget and Appropriations Committee has already made the point I wanted to make regarding what the Member for Nyando was saying. There is nothing untoward we are doing in rejecting all these amendments. The next natural cause of action is to go into mediation. Good relations between the two Houses are to mediate and agree on a common position. Therefore, I urge Members to join the Chair of the Budget and Appropriations Committee in rejecting not just this amendment, but also the two amendments that follow."
