    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Roads and Transportation regarding the deplorable state of Kisima Airstrip in Samburu County. In the Statement, the Committee should: (1) Explain the maintenance protocols in place at the Kisima Airstrip which is in a deplorable state as a result of a long period of neglect, indicating when infrastructure improvements at the airstrip will be undertaken by the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA). (2) Outline any plans of the Government to ensure that the airstrip is operational and to the standards stipulated by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA)."
