Speaker, in regards to this and as the custodian of regional integration, the Committee on Regional Integration is requesting your office to let many Members of this Committee attend these sports in Rwanda. As much as I encourage them to join me in the field, I play volleyball and they play with me, I request that you direct that this year, a number of Members are allowed to attend. In the future, we shall encourage most of them to join us in the field. The reason is that, I have learnt that Uganda and Tanzania have side sessions within the games. I already spoke in this House that come next year, we intend to have a conference for seven partner States comprising the Regional Integration Committee, with each country’s budget chairperson, so that we resolve the matters of budget in East Africa once and for all. It will, therefore, be a good opportunity for you to consider the Members of the Committee on Regional Integration."
