"content": " Thank you for this opportunity to talk about a topic that is extremely close to my heart having been a credit director in several banking institutions. I want to state that no enterprise or country can live without debt. The question is not about taking a debt or not, but how to manage it. A debt is managed very scientifically. In Kenya, the debt is denominated in foreign currency and that means it mutates and grows on its own. The Public Debt and Privatisation Committee needs to come up with a policy of placing the management of Kenyan debt in the hands of experts."
