    "content": "(Hon. Namwamba): Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. I submit that Wang’uru International Stadium was one of the four legacy projects of the immediate former administration. Regarding the delay in the completion of the Wang’uru Stadium, I wish to indicate the following- The project was handed over to the main contractor, Vivi Enterprises on the 5th of August 2020, with the construction commencing on August 12th that same year, 2020. However, the implementation of the project faced several delays due to weather, persistent rainfall and other factors. We also faced the Corona Virus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, which had a significant impact on the expedition of delivering that project."
