    "content": "Mr. Cabinet Secretary, in the run-up to the elections in 2017, the then Deputy President made a certain pronouncement on the status of the construction of nine stadia. I know you have the list that includes Kamariny, the one in Wote, Moyale, Mombasa and Kisumu. Recently, the country was awarded rights together with our regional neighbours to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). I must say that I was pleasantly surprised because I do not expect much from the current regime. Now, that we got the hosting rights and we announced the construction of other stadia for that particular tournament; is it the position of this Government that the nine stadia that were listed, including Kamariny, Wote, Moyale and others, are no longer a priority for this Government? Is it the position of this Government that they will not be built to the international standards that were promised back then?"
