    "content": "The other thing that made us have this Supplementary Budget is primarily the domain of our economy. Kenya is still agrarian in nature. Agriculture employs the bulk of the Kenyan citizens. In rural areas, 70 per cent of the residents are employed by the value chains in agriculture. We have added Ksh8.25 billion to the fertiliser subsidy for the next season. We have also added monies for the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) to mop up maize. We have also added money for maize post-harvest management because we expect a bumper harvest."
