I would like to reply to the debate on the Presidential Address delivered by His Excellency the President in this House on 9th November 2023. It is very important to note that this State of the Nation Address is anchored in law. It is a constitutional mandate of the President, under Article 132(1)(c) and Article 240(7) of the Constitution, to come to this Chamber and address the two Houses on the State of the Nation."
