    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I rise to support the Motion on deployment of police officers to Haiti. We are a global community of nations. It is absolutely essential for Kenya, together with other multinationals, to help Haiti. It is a matter of humanitarian consideration to offer support to our brothers and sisters in Haiti. The sole aim is to help usher in stability, development and democratic governance through a political framework owned and driven by the people of Haiti. The UNSC requested for the deployment of a multinational security mission to Haiti. Kenya will help to reinforce Haiti’s National Police Force. I fully support the deployment of officers of the National Police Service. We have forces in the DRC and other African countries. You can see what our troops have done. I support the Motion."
