    "content": " Thank you very much, Hon. Deputy Speaker, for giving me an opportunity. I rise to move a Report from the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the Supplementary Estimates I for the Financial Year 2023/2024. Previously, I would be given a lot of time to move this Report but today, I do not wish to take much time because I can see we have a lot of important business. First of all, I wish to bring to the attention of the House that the budget we are currently implementing is of Ksh3.744 trillion. These Supplementary Estimates are realigning Government priorities in regard to the current circumstances and allocating resources in high impact areas with the shortest time from input to output. These Supplementary Estimates are being made when our country is facing a myriad of issues.
