    "content": "It has been said that conflict of interest takes place when our judgments, decisions and actions are compromised by the position we hold in our relationship with the people who are closer to us when we decide on priorities. That is family members, our own interests, friends, financial considerations, in that we have companies which are connected to us and other social factors that might make it appealing to us while making such decisions. Balancing and managing conflict of interest in the public sector, therefore, calls for a very careful consideration of both legal, moral and ethical expectations on the same. We have witnessed situations where merits have been ignored by the privilege of authority and denied people who deserve positions because of where they come from, what they do not have and their lack of connections.
