The Ministry of Defence requested for Ksh900 million, Ksh600 million went to the National Intelligence Service (NIS) for recruitment, Ksh200 million to East African Community (EAC) and Ksh100 million to diaspora affairs. As a committee, we are satisfied and this is exactly what we submitted before the Budget and Appropriations Committee."
