    "content": " On national debt, this regime inherited a struggling economy. We must say the truth. I am glad that yesterday, the Leader of Majority Party emphatically said that Kenya is not going to default and join the league of many countries that have been degraded. This is a reality. One thing that has given us leverage over the years as a responsible nation is our commitment to our international obligations. The Government should do everything possible to make sure Kenya does not default in our international obligations. Without this, even the little that we have been enjoying will be eaten away once we default. That includes what has remained from high inflation and the high cost of living."
