    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise, pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Education, concerning the status of completion of construction of Voi Girls School in Voi Sub-county of Taita Taveta County. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Disclose the funds allocated to the County by the Kenya Railway Corporation (KRC) for the relocation of Voi Girls School to pave way for the construction of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), detailing any financial transactions and agreements made in the process. (2) Provide the bill of quantities for the project clearly stating the project cost of each aspect of the construction and any other relating expenses. (3) State the project completion rate and the amount of money paid to date, including a breakdown of payments made and the respective stages of the project they covered since the project initiation. (4) Explain whether there is any pending payment stating reasons for the delay in making such payments and detail any outstanding constructions and landscaping works along with the expected duration of time required for the project completion."
