    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No. 53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Trade, Industrialization and Tourism on the financial status of the Kenya International Convention Centre (KICC). In the Statement, the Committee should - (1) Provide a detailed report on the current financial status of the KICC, including its revenue, expenses and any outstanding debts or financial challenges it may be facing. (2) Clarify whether the Government has provided any financial support or bailout to the Institution in recent years, and if so, provide information on the amount, terms and conditions of such support.
