    "content": "knowledge that fees have gone high in the universities. I will bring it if that is what you want me to do. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, the issues I am speaking to are not because I am in the Opposition. Unfortunately, even the children of those who voted for the President, are facing the same fate. Unfortunately, families of Kenyans across the board, regardless of who they voted for, their gender or tribe, are suffering the same fate of high cost of living. That is the state of the nation. It is important that we tell the President the truth so that he can pause, review and think through. Can we keep moving forward on the basis that this country should be driven by the rich as we leave the poor behind? Can we even afford that? This is a Government that purportedly stands for the poor. It must be able to lift the poor. All I am saying is I did not hear the President speak to these issues. I would have liked to hear the President speak to these issues because that is the state of the nation. We are not in a good place."
