"content": "in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Harambee Avenue - they have never had an opportunity to serve their country in line with their training and experience of the years they have gained. That is why I assert that His Excellency the President has not only given hope to other career civil servants in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but also to other careers civil servants serving in the Government. We have also seen administrators like George Macgoye who has served as a District Commissioner (DC) and as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy President. He has served in various other capacities as an administrator, including the Kenya Maritime Authority. Now, such have the opportunity to use their expertise and experience in government to serve our nation abroad."
