    "content": "Our Chair, Hon. Wanjiku Muhia, is a former Member of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) which is based in Arusha. She had the opportunity to visit the Port of Dar- es-Salaam many times. She will tell you that the management of the Tanzanian Port is working very hard to catch up with the Port of Mombasa. Therefore, we must ensure that our Port is not only efficient in clearing goods swiftly, but also efficient in moving goods and people from the Port of Mombasa to countries that are trading with us beyond the borders of Kenya. Our Port is a trans-shipment one."
