    "content": "The CECM for Finance states that the Public Finance Management (PFM) Act, under Section 164, makes provisions for the County Treasury of the county government to prepare and submit to the Auditor General the annual financial statements in respect of county government in a format to be prescribed by the Accounting Standards Board. This statement shall include the services for which the appropriated money was spent, the amounts spent on each service, the status of each vote compared with the appropriation for the vote, a statement explaining any variation between the actual expenditure, the sum voted and any other information specified by the county treasury. At the last paragraph, she continues to state that as at the moment, the county has prepared and submitted the financial statements to the Auditor-General and the Auditor- General is in the process of auditing the financial statements, which form part of our response to your request.
