"content": "One of the achievements registered in the area of policy reforms is the recent formulation of the integrated national transport policy which is now before the Cabinet. There are a number of policy recommendations in this document which address the myriad problems in the transport sector. The proposed policy focuses on integration of the transport infrastructure and operations. It also advocates private sector participation in developing Kenyaâs strategic position as a regional transit hub. A Sessional Paper in this document has been developed for consideration by this august House upon the approval of the policy by the Cabinet."
