The Ministry plays a pivotal role in the implementation of projects of varying scales. This range from documentation, construction and management of small-scale projects such as those funded by the Constituencies Development Fund (CDF) to large- scale flagship projects under Vision 2030. There is need, therefore, to clearly articulate the Public Works Policy which will align the Ministries and, indeed, the entire construction industry and the activities in that sector towards the achievement of the nationâs development agenda.
