    "content": "Many people wonder why we are talking of footbridges, but the majority of Kenyans do not travel in matatus, buses or cars. Most of our people travel from point “A” to “B” on foot. Many of our children go to school from their homes on foot. In order to ensure that there is meaningful development to meet the demands at that early level before we move to a higher level of development, there is need for these footbridges to be built everywhere. The funds that have been allocated for footbridges seem not to be enough because it is not even enough for my constituency; Matuga."
