    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for this opportunity. I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Roads, Transportation and Housing regarding the expansion of roads in Machakos County. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Provide the timelines for the expansion of Tala-Katine-Syanthi, Tala-Oldonyo Sabuk, Tala-Kinyui-Miseleni- Kabaa, Tala-Kamulu, Kangundo-Mwala, Matuu-Ekalakala and Ngonda-Ndunduni-Katulye roads, stating the anticipated commencement and completion dates. (2) State the cost of each of the projects and the contractors who have been awarded the tenders to implement the projects. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir."
