"content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I rise to support the Petition. I chair the Departmental Committee on Environment, Forestry and Mining. This has become an issue. Most of the time, we depend on experts from outside the country to give us critical information. Hon. Pukose will agree with me that we had the same problem with the exploration of oil in Turkana. When we were with him in the Departmental Committee on Energy during the last Parliament, we depended on some people who were here just for a while. We did not have people to give us the quality information we needed. I agree with Hon. Pukose as I support that, maybe, the Bill could be taken to a Member of Parliament or the Committee that deals with those things."
