"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker for giving me this opportunity. First, I want to express my sympathy to the affected families in Mavoko. I have seen how casual the legislators have been discussing this matter. Having worked with refugees across the globe, the situation first starts with internally IDPs then it ends up being refugees. This is a grave matter. In the interest of public good… Majority of the people are affected. In fact, all of us swore to protect the people who elected us. What has happened in Mavoko is that schools and churches have been destroyed. As a nation, how do we expect the Almighty God to bless us if we are bringing down churches and mosques? Many children and women have lost their homes. It is very painful when you go to your home where you hide in your bedroom and you do not find it. We are sitting here engaging in political posturing.
