Some of us who live in our own houses do not know when the Government will come and demolish them because a title deed is now valueless. Conducting a search and obtaining a title deed from the Ministry of Lands means nothing. It is now impossible to use your title deed as collateral for a bank loan because it is just a piece of paper.
